Capstone Ad – spread the word

Our grass roots campaign continues. We aren’t doing billboards or mailers. We are simply spreading the news about Capstone through conversations, relationships, and of course – the internet. Post this ad on blogs, emails, facebook pages – you get the idea. We are a week away from shouting from the roof tops Capstone is here.

Top 5 Things that led to Church Planting

This year has been a wild and crazy whirlwind of changes with resigning from TrueNorth, moving to Fountain Inn, having a baby (not me – my wife), and starting a church. Tonight I asked myself “why in the world would I do a thing like that?” What exactly led me to start Capstone? Here are the Top 5 things God used to guide me into church planting.

5. Being a part of TrueNorth Church and seeing the power of transformation.

4. Relationship with Dustin Willis and Chris Barrineau

3. Amazing wife who felt call to take a huge risk.

2. 2007 trip to Israel and Turkey with Ray Vanderlan.

1. Passion to see the local church live up to its full potential to reach the lost and change the world.

I am sure later this year I will have a list of Top 5 Reason I wanted to quit church planting.  I am definitely in a place where my faith has never been greater. And when I say only God knows what 2009 holds for me – I mean it.  It is a nervous, amazing, exciting, and gut checking place.  So far I am enjoying the ride.
