Your my hero Walt, thanks for taking the time to share with me. I have been able to look at you guys at Capstone and now I know exactly what NOT to do… J/K You are doing it right, you’re the only church I know of in the area that is not just talking about the gospel, but living it out as a church! Thank you for your example!

I hope all is well with your family:) I will be praying for your new church. My mom told me she saw you at Rocky Creek. We are still living in the Phoenix area. We plan to come home for Christmas. We should get a group together for dinner. Have a great week.

We are praying for Capstone. We are excited to see what God is going to do. I enjoyed reading your blogs. You are right… it will take many churches working towards the same goal of reaching those who don’t know Jesus in Fountain Inn, the Golden Strip, SC, etc…We all must pray as you are talking about and work together.

Read through your blogs today. I appreciate your sense of humor and honesty. You are fulfilling your promise to be transparent and I really appreciate that. I have things that ramble through my head also…maybe I need a blog. Probably one more thing I’d start and not finish or maintain. Anyway, I wanted to support your efforts to “enjoy this ride”. I agree it is a good one. I’m excited to see what we’ll be talking about Jan. 1, 2010. As you suggested, I thought about what I was doing Jan. 2008 and I certainly didn’t have “church planting” on the agenda. As I go back to my verse for 2008, I can see it in retrospect, but never would have seen it coming! That’s probably a good thing! We’re glad you are here and I’ve really enjoyed the growing friendship with Betsy and you (and of course sweet Luke). Keep bloggin! Julie B.
